Trophy Club, TX Hi there and welcome to my website!!! I am so excited to be a part of Beachbody and Shakeology that I just needed to share my story with you. I feel that I have come a long way and now I want to help others succeed with their health and fitness goals. But before I tell you about my transformation, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 38 year old mother of two Hi there and welcome to my website!!! I am so excited to be a part of Beachbody and Shakeology that I just needed to share my story with you. I feel that I have come a long way and now I want to help others succeed with their health and fitness goals. But before I tell you about my transformation, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 38 year old mother of two boys, 3 and 8. I have a wonderful husband who I have been with for 9 years. I have two sisters and a twin brother, who have blessed me with 2 nephews and 7 nieces. I consider myself to be a fun, energetic, loveable, hard working, smart, educated person. I like being around people and hanging out with my girlfriends and taking care of my family. I love spending my weekends with my family and going to church on Sundays. Our family moved from Wisconsin to the big state of Texas 2 ½ years ago. What a change for all of us!! I went from owning my own Day Spa and working everyday in it to being a stay at home Mom. My life had completely slowed way down. I started to smoke more cigarettes, eat less, and drink a lot of caffeinated sodas. I didn’t really go anywhere or do anything but unpack our belongings, lay out by our pool and play with my one year old son. I left my family, friends, my business and everything I knew back in Wisconsin. I guess some people wouldn’t mind my leisurely life but I’m the kind of person that just can’t sit still. Just ask anyone that knows me. : ) In November I enrolled our youngest in preschool at a Baptist Church down the road from us. My husband and I thought it would be a good idea for him to socialize and play with children his own age and it would give me some free time. On February 1st 2008 I made the decision to quit smoking. I needed to do it for myself and for my family. I was tired of coughing in the morning and smelling like cigarette smoke. I also started to feel embarrassed that I smoked. I had smoked for 21 years and it was time to get rid of the nasty habit. March 16th 2008 my best friend died of cancer. She was an amazing beautiful person and I miss her so much. She left behind two boys who meant the world to her. Everything she did in life was for her boys. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of her. She was only 40. April 7th 2008 I joined a gym with some encouragement from someone I had met at my son’s preschool. Today I consider her to be a dear friend and I hope she knows how grateful I truly am. Without her showing, helping, and guiding me, I don’t know if I would have made it there on my own. Thank you Ms. Suzanne from the bottom of my heart!!! And then that’s when it happened for me. My New Life, A New Beginning, My Transformation…….

Throughout the year’s my weight would go up and down like a yo -yo. I’m only 5’ 3” so when I got to be 135lbs I felt rollie pollie. My eating habits were terrible. I ate late at night and what ever I wanted to. Then I went the other way. After I had my second child I had gotten down to 99lbs. I was thin and boney. There was nothing to me. This time I ate well…… really nothing. This was right before I quit smoking. ( I think the cigarettes were my food source.) Yuck!!! I started to go to the gym M—F participating in the 9:30- 10:30 a.m. classes. I would go to the back of the room and pray that I could get through the class. I remember I would feel so sore the next day that I couldn’t even sit on the toilet seat. I would just keep thinking about my friend that I had lost and the fact that I didn’t want to start smoking again. I had to do this for my health and my family. I knew I could do it. I could do anything that I put my mind to. Well today I’m here to tell you I no longer stand in the back of the class. I’m right up front every day giving it 110%. I currently weigh 108lbs. I feel stronger, happier and more confident than ever. I love all my fitness instructors and appreciate them for pushing me to get where I am today. Now I make working out a part of my daily routine. Weather I’m at the gym or working out with my Insanity workout DVD’s I always find that 1 hour to work out. I’ve learned that it is also important to take care of the inside. No matter how hard you work out if you are not eating healthy and eating the right amount of food your workouts could be a waste. I start every morning drinking a Greenberry Shake by Shakeology and sometimes I will have one in the afternoon. I have also been eating the P90X Protein bars either for a snack or when I need something fast to eat after leaving the gym. For dinner I will make a sensible meal for me and my family. My goal is to be toned and tight by March 14th 2010 for Spring break. I can't wait to see my husbands jaw hit the sand on the beach in Acapulco when he sees me in my new hot bikini. ;) I’ll keep you posted. Until then don’t be the person that puts everyone and everything first and yourself last if there is even a last in your day. You need to take care of yourself inside out. No one else is going to do it for you. When it comes to your health and well being, failure is just not an option. **Okay so today is March 26th 2010. Posted some new pics. Going on three months now with Shakeology and I feel incredible. I feel stronger, I'm happier as a person, I feel powerful, I feel confident, I have more energy, and I'm more focused on things. **
