Hi, I'm Tim Pannell. I'm just your average guy that has been struggling with his weight since I reached my 20's.
When I was a kid, I couldn't gain weight to save my life. Once I became an adult and found reasons to avoid working out things changed dramatically.

When I was a kid, I couldn't gain weight to save my life. Once I became an adult and found reasons to avoid working out things changed dramatically.
Nobody plans on getting out of shape, it just kind of happens. I was a gym rat as a kid. I was always playing and running around doing something.
I never did any of it to stay in shape, I just did it for fun. When I was in college I lifted weights 1 1/2 hours/day and played racquetball 2 hours/day, 6 days a week.
I never did any of that just to stay in shape. I did it just for fun! I weighed 185 lbs. with 6% body fat, a 28' waist and a 44" chest.
It wasn't until I started my own business that I embraced a sedentary lifestyle and gained all of my weight. At my heaviest I got up to 310 lbs. Holy crap!!!
I've been an advertising and commercial photographer for the last 19 years. I've worked with Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird. I've shot for McDonalds, Gatorade, Coca-Cola, Reebok, Addidas.
It's been a great career, but I did develop some bad habits because of all the travel. I have made a lot of bad choices eating out in a lot of great restaurants. It's time for a change!
I have struggled trying to overcome my weight issues and have had some successes only to fall back into old habits.
After discovering P-90X, I've had a breakthrough. I'm now working out just for the fun of it again. I am changing my lifestyle.
A lifestyle change is what got me into this mess. A lifestyle change is what will get me out of this mess.
I'm in this for the long haul. Somebody will have to pry my dumbbells from my cold dead hands!
I'm eating more healthy foods and I'm working out consistently. The weight is starting to come off. I currently weigh 275 lbs.
Obviously, I'm still big, but not for long. I can relate to people now who struggle with their weight.
I know what its like to get frustrated with not seeing the results that I think I deserve. Now I just focus on the process.
Embracing the fitness process and focusing on the actual doing has been the breakthrough I needed to get over the hump.
