My story, in May of 2002 I was having severe headaches and I was on active duty; Navy. Not understanding what was happening I tried to tuff it out for a while, I was being He Man. In June 2002 I found out I had a major brain tumor. In July I went in for brain surgery to remove the tumor. They doctor removed 80% of the tumor. A little more than two years later and after a second surgery in 2004 I was well out of harms way, sort of speak. During and after the surgery I put on some weight. From a low of 215 to a max of 264. I realized I had to do something drastic to get back in to the things I use to do. In the past I regularly ran 3 miles a day, Billy Banks, and regularly worked as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) worked as and after the surgeries I barely ran for my car to my front door. So I started to look for programs and gimmicks to reduce my weight after failed attempts I decided to give Beach body a try. Over the past three years I have used Slim in 6, Hip Hop Abs, Turbo Jams and now P90X. Each program gave me a different prospective on working out. I feel excited while working my way back to being in excellent shape, and I feel great as I journey back to good health. I never really understood how much fun it would be to get back into to shape. Well it’s the right time for a new me. I have an opportunity to redesign my life and I am well on my way to a new me. I willingly explore the physical activities needed to reform my life to meet my goals of changing lives through fitness and diet. I have changed my eating habits and have increased my intensity level of my workouts. I am ready to take my works to the next level while continue the programs that work the best for me. That’s what workouts are all about; finding a workout and lifestyle that you can continue for rest of your life. Living my life that way makes life more enjoyable. Now that I am working out with intensity I enjoy life more. My weight is going down and I loving it. Now I have the knowledge to renew my personal training certification and my Team Beach Body/MDB business I can help others through my experiences. Working as a Team Beach Body coach and renewing my CPT I will help others who want to change their lives. Today I will be flying to the Coach Summit in California; I look forward to meeting the many other coaches and share my success and learn about the various approaches to staying fit and building a stronger community.
