My weight has been up and down like a yo yo for years. As a teen I turned to food to cover my emotions and my unhappy childhood. I had to wear mens jeans, and gym was excruciatingly embarrassing. Once More ...
My weight has been up and down like a yo yo for years. As a teen I turned to food to cover my emotions and my unhappy childhood. I had to wear mens jeans, and gym was excruciatingly embarrassing. Once I was out of school, I remember looking at myself in the mirror in a swim suit and it just hit me like a ton of bricks!! I was overweight and it was going to stop right then and there! By the time I was 19 I had lost 25 pounds on my own using cans of peas or soup and watching "Body Electric" on PBS. A year later, I was down another 20. I couldn't believe the change and the clothes I could wear!!! Then came the children....my highest weight was 225 but I was determined to get the weight off. Now to 2010, I had surgery which kept me from exercising for nearly a year. Now I have bumps and rolls that weren't there before and I also gained about 15 pounds. I am starting over now with no regrets and I am on my 3rd week of Turbo Fire and my first week of P90x. UPDATE: After 2 months of P90x I found out I was pregnant!!!! So I worked out as often as I could but by July was on bedrest:( Now I have a 6 week old and 25 pounds to lose!!! But I know the programs work and am determined to start over. With the support of my friends here at Beachbody I know I can achieve my goals:)
