The more I talk about it, the more I realize how seasoned my fitness journey really is. I've been active most of my life. My predominant sport was soccer. When I was 17 I tore my ACL playing soccer. The more I talk about it, the more I realize how seasoned my fitness journey really is. I've been active most of my life. My predominant sport was soccer. When I was 17 I tore my ACL playing soccer. That incident really affected the rest of the decisions I would make about my fitness. Yoga helped me regain some of my lost range of motion. By the time I was 21 I was really into running long distances. I never had a super fit body though and that was the whole reason for doing the work.
When I tore my ACL a second time, I came out of physical therapy with a voracious appetite for exercise. I would workout in the morning and after work. I would go the to gym and then go do 90 minutes of yoga. When I turned 26 I found an interesting do jang (Korean word for martial arts school) that teaches authentic Chinese Kung Fu. It's a style called Ba Gua Zhang. If I hadn't made certain decisions in my life, i may very well still be exercising there.
However, now, I work irregular hours and am unable to attend classes.
I went for well over a year without exercise. In May 2009 I weighed in at 225lbs. Holy cow!!! I have never weighed that much! I remembered being about 185 or 190 most of my days. That was when I bit the bullet and bought P90X. I came out of the box real strong but ended up only making it about 60 days. I started again on October 11th, 2009. I also decided to become a Coach. I know that I really need a teacher or leader when I am working out. I decided to become the teacher and adopt a lifestyle change that includes intense exercise and clean, healthy, conscious eating.
The supportive community within these webpages will help anyone exceed their personal expectations. I have seen some of the most amazing body transformations on this site. It is possible to look how you want to look and life the life you want to live.
What I love about Team Beachbody is that by using their products and talking about them with friends and people that I meet, I can earn a supplemental income. I also get to help people take their life into a more positive, productive, and gratifying direction.
Because when you feel good about who you are and how you look, you can go forward with confidence.

I am so pleased with the results I see, with the compliments I've received, and with the direction I have.
At the time I am writing this, I have twenty days to go with my second attempt at P90X. While the program may be over, I am just getting started. Thank you, Beachbody for helping me exceed my own expectations, and break through my self-imposed limitations!
