Who's George Heath? Well, I'm a 38 year old father of two beautiful girls and husband to a beautiful wife.

I've always been of average size and weight - 5'10" tall and fluctuated between 175-180 lbs. Until 1 day a few years ago I topped out at about 190, saw my belly and realized I had high blood pressure and high cholestorol. I could no longer get the premium life insurance plan and found myself depressed and out of shape.

Remember that beautiful wife I mentioned? Well, one day she found Beachbody and it quickly changed her life. She found support on the message boards, worked out daily and put us on a nutrition plan. I wanted to support my wife in every way I could and she had a goal of running a 1/2 marathon. I thought that was pretty ambititios considering she never ran much, but I'm there either way. Well, I called her bluff one New Year's Eve challenged her to a full marathon. Little did I know that's when my life changed for the better....

Training started shortly there after. 10K in January followed by our first 1/2 marathon in March. Another 1/2 in April, another 1/2 in May and the grandaddy full marathon at the end of May 2009. After my knees healed...I finished another 1/2 marathon in October and was in a great shape at 165 lbs. Dr. said I had no signs of high cholestrorol or high blood pressure. I was shocked.

Just after the marathon in May, I was introduced to P90X. Now I thought I was a conditioned athlete after running 26.2 miles. But nothing I did to date prepared me for Tony Horton. I stuck with it for about a month, then back to running. I got burnt out for some reason - over commitment at work, too much running, cold weather...whatever.

Now I'm back and better than ever. Back on the P90X wagon. Chuggin' my Shakeology, just started participating in my weekly Fit Club calls and attened my first NorCal Game Plan Event. I'm pumped and ready to light the world on fire!!

I'm pretty excited about Beachbody and ready to help myself and others reach their fitness and ... wellness goals!
