Denver, CO In college, I biked and walked around an extensive campus daily, ran and swam several times a week. At 5'10", the most I weighed in college was 175 pounds. In my twenties, I worked out at a gym several times a week, weight training and doing various forms of cardio. I ate what I wanted, and was able to maintain a weight of 180 pounds, give or take 10, for about a decade. Since I turned In college, I biked and walked around an extensive campus daily, ran and swam several times a week. At 5'10", the most I weighed in college was 175 pounds. In my twenties, I worked out at a gym several times a week, weight training and doing various forms of cardio. I ate what I wanted, and was able to maintain a weight of 180 pounds, give or take 10, for about a decade. Since I turned 30, I have slowly let myself go. In addition to abandoning a fitness program in my 30s, I began drinking more, enjoying several glasses of wine or bourbon on ice most evenings. On my 40th birthday, I weighed 285 pounds and had a body fat percentage of 37%. My cholesteral is too high, I am on high blood pressure medicine, have to us a CPAP machine, and have a resting heart rate in the 90s. I am committed to regaining my health. I have been working out with a trainer for the past few months and have dropped about 13 pounds of fat and gained about five pounds of muscle. I currently have a body fat percentage of 32%. I am ready to take it to the next level and get the body I deserve and was meant to have.
