My wanting for a new Transformation started after the birth of my son 9yrs. ago. As most mothers know, 98% of our bodies never remain exactly the same. Before my son was born I was working out, but wasn't sure if the workouts gave me the exact results I wanted. I worked out to Toni Little, and Taebo to name a few. I also rode my bike and played many sports for fun. I can tell you I didn't eat completely healthy all the time. I did grow up occasionally eating fast food. What got me was my parents making me finish my plate, even when I knew I was full. I find myself overeating as an adult because of that. I feel like I don't want to waist my food. I am slowly learning that I don't have to finish all my food. I am also learning to fix smaller portions. Since the birth of my son, I have not felt comfortable in my own skin for a long time. People say that I am beautiful I always reply with a thankyou, but always cover up how I really feel inside. I am very self-concious about my Ab area. I've never stuck with any workout or nutrition plan that I've tried. I am always wearing tank tops under my shirts so noone can see my abs. I feel more secure when I wear my tank tops. You see I felt very comfortable in my own skin before my pregnancy. I just want that feeling back so much. I've tried everything and so far nothing has worked with the results I am looking for. I have been taking Kungfu with my husband and two children for three years now. Kungfu has helped so much. I did lose about 15 to 20 pounds since being in it. I still can't quite get my ab area the way I want it though. I have felt my self plateau this year for the first time in three years of Kungfu. We aren't able to go to Kungfu more than 2 times a week. We travel 45 min. to Kungfu, there and back. It is worth it though. We are still taking Kungfu and I had decided to start P90 in April. Oneday in about the month of February 2009, I stumbled across a P90x ad in a health magazine. I was skeptical and so was my husband when I showed him. So, I ignored the ad. It wasn't until a client of mine told me she did P90 and lost about 20pds., I was interested then. I had only heard of P90x,and was unaware that P90 and P90x are all with a workout community called Beachbody. I was still a little skeptical until my brother told me he wanted to lose some belly fat and heard of P90x. I was now interested. I thought, why not. I'll try it. So, I bought P90 first and started April 8, 2009 and am still working out. I have been working out with P90 a little over a month now. I have noticed a difference in inches lost in the ab area. I feel toning on other areas of my body as well. I am very excited to see myself when I am finished with P90. After P90 I am moving onto P90x. My husband has also joined me within the last week to workout every morning at 6:15. I have also signed up to be a Beachbody Coach. I want to inspire and motivate others on my way to New Discoveries.
