Hello all, my name is Misty.
I guess my story goes a little like this. First and foremost I have been blessed to call myself a Christian my whole life! I am so in awe and thankful to my savior Jesus!!
I am a thankful mommy to four kiddos and I am blessed enough to be able to homeschool them which is an amazing experience!! I have been married to my bestfriend for nine years now.
I have had three c-sections in seven years,to be honest though, those c-sections did not affect my body as much as all the years of emotional eating and sedentary lifestyle has. I am ready to end this terrible cycle my family and I have been on all our lives. I grew up with overweight parents and sibblings and we are all still struggling with these unhealthy issues. I recently became a team beachbody coach because I want to make a positive impact and help my family and friends and anyone else I am blessed enough to come in contact with end this trend of obesity that is over talking our lives! Helping people is a HUGE motivation to me, and I know I can motivate others in the process. Ephesians 4:29 is my motto and the bar at which I strive towards in this coaching business!This is not just a business though, I am currently on a weightloss journey of my own as well. I have lost about 35 pounds with turbo jam and Power 90, but I have about fifty to go. My goal is not a number though, or a size but a feeling of health and balance that has eluded me most of of my life.
My ankle was injured right before Christmas (2010) and while sitting there basically feeling sorry for myself I realized how blessed I had been to have been able to move and vowed not to take it for granted. I started walking again after two months and quickly progressed to working out, pushing myself harder and harder each day. As you might have guessed I re-injured my foot! lol Now I am easing back into things more excited to help others while I am on this journey than ever! I am focusing on my calories in and highly recommend journaling even the tinest bite! (Myfitnesspal.com is great free tool for this)Also get your water in especially if you are taking shakeology (which I also highly recommend!!) Lastly, (props to you if you stayed with it and read this far by the way, your hard core!) I would just urge anyone reading this to plug into this community. There is so much support and wisdom here it truly is a fantastic tool!!! If I can help you in anyway please don't hisitate to drop me a line. I could (and often do!) talk fitness all day!!!
