My transformation story has been a long time coming. I have lost 18 pounds since March 2010. My journey originally began when I was 25 and weighed 180 and my doctor told me I was on the path towards obesity. I started slowly, just running around the block and then joined the local YMCA. A year later, I ran my first half-marathon (13.1 miles) and lost a lot of my weight. Fast forward 13 years, 1 husband and 3 children later and I needed a swift kick of motivation! My weight had crept back up to close to 150 and I was unhappy with myself and had no energy. We purchased P90X and I loved it and then I completed a round of INSANITY. Now I am doing a hybrid of ChaLEAN Exteme and TurboFire. I am taking control of my health and have those last few pounds to lose. I really want to be a motivator for others and help them on their own fitness journey.
