My name is Tanya and I recently, in the past year, realized 3 of my dreams, which were, one, finally being with the true love of my life (11 years after falling in love with him (he's definitely worth the wait!) and 2 marriages later for the both of us), two, becoming a stay at home mom, and three, living in the south (I am originally from Milwaukee, WI, so you understand...smile). I have 5 My name is Tanya and I recently, in the past year, realized 3 of my dreams, which were, one, finally being with the true love of my life (11 years after falling in love with him (he's definitely worth the wait!) and 2 marriages later for the both of us), two, becoming a stay at home mom, and three, living in the south (I am originally from Milwaukee, WI, so you understand...smile). I have 5 children, 4 living, and 3 step children. Just like most people, I have gone through many trials and tribulations, which mine have noticablly physically taken it's toll in the past 7 or 8 years in the form of weight gain. The weight gain started when I got out of the military and wasn't forced to exercise any more. I didn't know that I was a stress eater until recently when I started evaluating myself and trying to get the 50 lbs. off. I had been like that all of my life but didn't have to worry about it because I had been so active but not anymore. And now that I am older it has become so very hard to lose the weight. I have come through so much and I am so extremely happy and grateful for my life and now I am coming through this weight issue. I want everyone to succeed in ALL of their goals and reach ultimate happiness!

My story is a simple one. Like a lot of people, for years, I have tried many diets and pills and even tried to think off my weight because I realized that I had emotional weight gain....meaning, I mentally and emotionally ate myself 50 lbs. overweight and it had nothing to do with any health problems. Well, in the middle of March, while trying to "think" off my weight and searching for some other method of losing weight, I came across the Million Dollar Body website. I found it to be very different than what I had seen or done in the past. I actually found people going through the same thing I am who I could interact with (WOWY) and we could be accountable for each other. The products are awesome as well as the tools and well it doesn't hurt that you can win prizes just for working out. The first two weeks: In order that I will lose my goal of 50 lbs. I have a long way to go but I keep telling myself that I didn't put it on in a couple of days! I have recently tried to eat more healthy, drink more water and I am doing Tae-bo and have ordered the Hip Hop Abs series so that I can achieve maximum results. I am working out with my success buddies everyday (such wonderful people) and a personal coach from Million Dollar Body (Thanks GilC!), so that I can have some sort of plan or regimen down and also that motivation. My plan is to weigh myself every two weeks and weigh and measure myself every 30 days, so I will keep you up to date and let you know how it goes! Just have to keep pushing play! The second two weeks: Weigh in Mon. 26 Mar. 07....drum roll....5 lbs. lost!! My Hip Hop Abs came in (SCREAM) and I have been making it my basic workout while incorporating Tae-Bo and sometimes another ab workout. Whew! Can't wait until measurement time on April 9th!! Guess that means I have to keep pushing play!! Thanks Beachbody! Alright, 30 days!! Mon. Apr 9th!!: Well, well, well. Not only do I feel better, I am looking better too! Today is my weigh in and measurement update and I have lost 9 lbs. (I think I have some extra water weight, if you know what I mean ladies..ahem) and 7 in. total! (WOOOOO HOOOOO!) I still haven't mastered the eating healthy part but it is a lot better than what it had been and it's okay. I am working on that also. I have set my goals and I am knocking them down. I will order the slimming supplements (my advisor says....coach GilC) to help my results. It would actually be nice to be a winner so that I can use the money to order another program! (smile) See ya in two weeks! Until then I will keep pushing play! Well, it's two weeks later, April 23 and there is good news and there is bad news. Bad news first, it hasn't been a very productive 2 weeks. Between my daughters' birthday (where there is a birthday, there is birthday cake), Easter and other issues I haven't lost a single pound. So, good news is, I guess since I still had been working out I hadn't gained any weight either so I am still at 178. Well I have to keep pressing on and get back on the band wagon of healthy eating! Until another 2 weeks....keep pushing play! So, I am 60 days in now and I am not where I wanted to be by now but I have made progress. I am slowly learning that the small changes are important too. I have lost 4lbs since my last weigh in, 2 weeks ago and since my last measurement 30 days ago, I have only lost 2.5 inches. It has been a very sobering month but I vow to press even harder now and do the best that I can to lose more inches to be much closer to my goal for my birthday.....see ya in two weeks and I'll still be pressing play!
