May update: Phase 1 of P90X2 completed. This week I start week 3 of phase 2. I am mixing in running with the workouts to continue improving in all aspects of fitness. I estimate I will complete P90X2 the middle or end of July depending on how much running I want to mix in.

March update: I am now using P90X as my maintenance program for upper body total workout and running on the days in between.

Insanity program completed. It melted fat away. I now can see abs for the first time since I was in the Army! Also, I lost 6 lbs. doing the workout and definitely replaced it with muscle. Next challenge? Starting to train to do a half-marathon later this year. Never thought I would be saying that! ;-)

12/20/10 update:
After taking a week off due to a bad cold I started week 3 of Insanity over again. Funny what a week off can do to a body. Kicked my butt today but it felt great to get back to it. Less than 2 weeks away from the New Years - resolution time. Next year my goal is to have a washboard stomach for the first time in my 43 years. It is weird to think that this is a very achievable goal after having quite the beer belly just 2 years ago! What is your goal?

I finished the first round of P90X (Lean) in August 2010. I felt energized and ready to go. I had to force myself to take a week off before starting round 2!

Round 2 completed in Novemeber 2010. Now I felt energized and much stronger. This time around I did the classic routine and I felt and looked a LOT better. One problem, crazy me thought he needed another challenge!

I started Insanity (perfect name!) At the beginning of December 2010 and currently have finished the 2nd week. The first week was tough but you learn to push through. Week 3 starts with the 2nd fit test and I am looking forward to seeing how much I have improved since the 1st fit test.
