Being a mother of 3, I'm busy. I found that keeping up with all the sleepless nights and busy schedules, I was more prone to give into that large order of french fries just to get a boost. Those fries do add up and my energy was going further downhill. Having also dealt with postnatal depression after each pregnancy was doing it's share of weighing in.

After my last baby was born, I was determined not live my life with health issues. So instead of waiting for tomorrow to come, I started working out again with determination. In my first 2 1/2 weeks I had lost 15 pounds and when I go for a walk now, I'm not out of breath and panting half way down the drive way. I was considered healthy in every way by my doctor except for my weight, but how long would that have lasted.

Today is where I am and I'm going to enjoy my life in health. I'm also loving my "me" time, something I had put off for a few years.

My children are my biggest motivation, being able to not just watch them grow, but to be involved with the process in every way.
