I am 44 years old. I enjoy running, lifting weights, and swimming to stay in shape.

In the past two years I have lost over 30 pounds. This was weight that I had put on after I was unable to workout due to a hip injury. I was able to take off the weight by walking, using the elliptical machine, working out with free weights, and eventually running.

I lost approximately 36 pounds by walking, working out on the elliptical machine, lifting free weights, doing stomach exercises, and finally running.

My goals for the future are to become a faster runner and compete in 5k races. I also would like to get as fit as I can and hope to lower my body fat percentage. Most importantly, I just want to be healthy and strong and know that I am doing all that I can to achieve this goal.
