Lake Worth, FL Hello, my name is Holly. Welcome to Team Beachbody! I am very excited to embark on this new adventure as a Team Beachbody coach and let me explain why! To begin, I’m currently living in South Florida with my husband, Cesar, and our three beautiful boys, Gabriel, Jacob and Luke. With each day that I thank God, I also pray that he gives me strength to make it through the day because....I have a full time life!
I work in ultrasound close to 35 hrs a week for a busy doctor and teach dance 10 hours a week. I am constantly running, always tired, and often wishing I had more energy and more time. Slowly, my life has become overwhelmingly busy. I have placed demands on myself and conformed to a mold that leaves me with very little quality time with my family. I often find myself, on the weekends, trying to catch up on chores, at times, missing my boys'soccer games, just so I don't loose my mind in the chaos of the next week. This is not what I want for my life, or my family. I know I can find a balance, I know I can create more quality time. From my experience, a workout program is essential for quality mental and physical health. There is no way around it. I currently teach ballet to little ones, and adult Zumba classes. It has definitely been an outlet of creativity, and a way for me to relieve stress. Cardio wise, I would say I am in great shape. My heart works pretty efficiently with a low resting hr. The problem is that my body has become too efficient with the workout I am currently doing and I am slowly gaining weight and seeing less tone. What happens with dance or any cardio work out that you may start, is an initial drop in weight because it’s something new and you are burning calories, but in time, your body adjusts. If you do not combine strength training or add muscle confusion to your workout, your weight will not change, you may even slowly gain. Your body tone will also become stagnant, or even deplete. Although I love dance, I am finding at 33, that I need more for my body. I want to feel stronger and be stronger with long, lean muscles. I want to get up in the morning with energy and vitality, not fatigue and mediocrity. I know I have found a way with Beachbody, to turn my life around. I have already added a strength segment at the end of my Zumba class and I can't wait to incorporate more from what I will learn. I really want to change my body tone and help my students do the same! I also believe I can create opportunity for myself and others to free us of rigid, maxed-out schedules. With the help of this program, I can gain the body and energy I once had, or possibly never had! I also truly desire to help others in the area of total body health, and I know with Beachbody, I have the tools and help to become successful. Please join me in the quest for a quality life!
