Newnan, GA i'm a 31 y/o stay @ home mom. in high school i ran cross-country and have always had a high metabolism and been on the underweight side. since having children, my body has done things i never imagined it would do. i never thought i'd carry extra baggage on my thighs and rear. i never imagined that i'd lost that flat belly after having kids as well...but here i am. my husband is a very i'm a 31 y/o stay @ home mom. in high school i ran cross-country and have always had a high metabolism and been on the underweight side. since having children, my body has done things i never imagined it would do. i never thought i'd carry extra baggage on my thighs and rear. i never imagined that i'd lost that flat belly after having kids as well...but here i am. my husband is a very health-conscious man, and is very disciplined to eating right and working out. honestly if it weren't for him, i would definitely not be the one pursuing a healthier me...but i'm so thankful for his example to me and help along the way. i've done p90x off and on and struggle with keeping with it. i don't eat a lot of "junk" food- i don't buy chips, pretzels, soda etc...i buy alot of fruit, veggies and nuts. i actually buy a lot of organic, natural foods, and i teach my kids to eat well, but my downfall is actually NOT eating. however, then i find myself starving and tend to binge. it's a bad cycle i want to change. i know that if i take the time to change my eating habits and accept a workout plan that is tailored to fit my needs i will achieve my goals

i married @ age 19 to the love of my life, jason. we waited for 6 years to have kids and when we finally got pregnant with our first baby, i gained 40 lbs. it was all in my belly, and thighs/rear. i lost all of the baby weight within 6 months, but not because i was exercising, i can only claim a high metabolism on that one. (during the first few months of our son's life, we began to change our eating habits, watching the ingredients that were in our foods, cutting out unhealthy fats, etc.) 6 days before our son turned a year old, i got pregnant (and discovered i was when i was 8 weeks along). i had another easy pregnancy and only gained 24 lbs (mostly in my belly) with our daughter. however, even though i lost the weight after having her, i seem to have plateaued in my weight. i'm starting to see cellulite on my thighs, my butt is saggy and my core strength is no longer what it used to be (i used to do a lot of running in high school/college)...i've always been underweight for my height, so losing weight is not my goal, in fact if i put on a few pounds of muscle, i'd be extremely happy. i mostly want to get my healthy body back...but more than that, i want to develop a healthy active lifestyle. i am not a sedentary person. i am always on the go, but just because i'm on the small side doesn't mean i'm fit...that's where i want to be....and i want to lead by example for my kids to follow.
