Hi! I've been involved with fitness for over 10 years now! I love being able to set a great example and get others involved with working out the way they love! I'm currently the Group Fitness Director for Gold's Gym Pittsburgh and have been teaching many forms of group fitness classes for years and find it's such great motivation to keep myself in shape and to play all the sports I play. I had my baby last December...since then I ran the Pittsburgh half marathon in May in 1:59:29 - met my goal of under 2 hours! I recently completed my first duathlon in Philly which consisted of a 2 More ...
I had my baby last December...since then I ran the Pittsburgh half marathon in May in 1:59:29 - met my goal of under 2 hours! I recently completed my first duathlon in Philly which consisted of a 2 mile run, 17 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run - so much fun! I exceded my expectations by about 10 minutes and finished it in 1 hour 39 minutes, was the 29 women to finish and won my division! I did another duathlon in Erie, PA 2 weeks later and was the 11th women to finish with a time of 1 hour 32 minutes. Then on September 13 - I am running the Chicago Half Marathon - with a goal of 1:53 or better!
