Transformation story

When I was 20, I was extremely fit. Those were the days of the aerobic
fitness movement, and I was a huge fan! I worked out daily. In my first few
years of college, I decided to major More ...
When I was 20, I was extremely fit. Those were the days of the aerobic
fitness movement, and I was a huge fan! I worked out daily. In my first few
years of college, I decided to major in physical education because I was
interested in becoming a physical therapist. This meant that some of my
courses were actually workouts....which I loved! I remember one semester I
got up at 5am every day, walked down to the fitness center, took the early-
morning public aerobic class, then had a 45-minute course in aerobic fitness,
and then a course in karate! My body fat was 15% at that time and it was the
peak of my physical fitness. But when I discovered how competitive the field
of physical therapy was from a GPA standpoint, I let go of the idea of phyEd
as a major - I didn't think I could make the grades. The years passed and I
became interested in computer science. This became my chosen major and I
graduated with a BS in IT. I love working in technology but unfortunately,
working on a computer and putting in long days meant that I also put on
some weight. I have gone up and down in weight and my level of fitness has
varied over the years, but now I am finally committed to regaining a fit and
strong body that will carry me through the rest of my life! I am so excited
that I discovered P90X...I feel its the push I need to really take me where I
want to go! It won't be an easy road back to where I began, but I believe my
passion for fitness will carry me through this journey - and I can't wait to see
and feel the results!
