Greetings all - I am turning 50 years old this year! I am a clinical research scientist and a Beachbody coach. I used Beachbody programs to get back in shape so I can enjoy some of my favorite activities like surfing, skiing and triathlons.

Like many people,work and family demanded much of my time and my health took a back seat to these important aspects of my life. I remained somewhat active but

My transformation story is in progress as I continue to use Beachbody programs as part of my lifestyle.

As of 11/19/07 I was waiting for my P90X to arrive in the mail and getting familiar with the message boards and MDB club. I had already improved my diet and dropped almost 5 lbs in just in the couple weeks preparing to start P90X. I did the fit test and started doing more push ups and pull ups in anticipation of the program. I was looking forward to reaching my fitness goals by making full use of P90X and the support of the MDB community.

After only 30 days of P90X I was down another 10 lbs and an inch of my waist. That was enough proof in the system for me already. I was even more fired up to see what I could do by day 60...and 90!

As of 3/14/08 I had completed round 1 of P90X. I was down to 174 (from 194). I was doing 12 wide pull ups on the first set compared to 3 when I started (usually about 85 pull ups total on the Legs and Back workout). And running actually feels good again. Thanks Beachbody! I'm stronger, faster and more flexible.

As of 8/1/09 - OK, it is about a year and a half since I joined Beachbody and started P90X. I have done 2 rounds of P90X. I continue to use the workouts interspersed with triathlon training. I have been holding steady at the weight I hit at the end of my first round of P90X, about 174. I have since become a Beachbody Coach and I am starting another round of P90X. I may still exchange some of the cardio workouts with biking or running, but I want to get a full round of the upper body work and really focus on the yoga and Abs. Looking to drop a few more pounds and a few more body fat percentage points. More updates coming soon!
