HOUSTON, TX Hmmm...these are always hard. Start off with a bit about me.
I am a 24 year old Mechanical Engineer in Houston, TX. I've been married to my awesome wife for about 3-1/2 years. We love our Church, our God, and our family. We are also adding a new member to the family!! We are due on April 29, 2010 (our first, and a boy), and are tremendously excited.

Now, my story:
I have always been thick. In elementary school I was always bigger than everyone, but typically not fat. I just grew early. Then in middle school I became a runner, which slimmed me down to beanpole size but I always seemed to feel like the big kid (which at 5'-8", I was not).
High school started and being a football player I hit the weights pretty hard, and even lifted competitively. I became very successful at lifting (not bodybuilding, just competitive lifting), which demands a hefty diet and plenty of working out.
After high school I continued to eat like I was lifting (sometimes, upwards of 3000-4000 calories per day), but stopped the lifting. I easily put on about 40-50 pounds in college (not from the beer. From the food), and here I am.
So, that leads me to today. Two years out of college and desperately trying to recover from my weight spiral that was college. I've always been athletic, but for the life of me I can't fit into a decent pair of jeans. It has effected my confidence and my outward attitude.
Time for a change. I am currently working on the Power 90 system and am loving it. I am more energetic during the day, and sleep better at night. I know I am in for a fun ride!
