Im a 37 year old male that lives in Evansville, Indiana. Ive been working out off and on for the past 3 years but havent reached my physical goals that id like to be at. My wife and I got married April 4th, 2009, so we're newly weds but have been together for over a year total. I work for Toyota Motors Manufacturing Indiana and have been there for over 6 years now. the job is very physically demanding. Working on an assembly line building the worlds greatest vehicles doesnt come easy. Its like doing 8 hours of cardio with a break every 2 hours. I love the job because it does keep me in shape since i do alot of sweating. There is alot of repetition in movement when building on line but thats where muscle memory comes in. My wife recently got laid off from her job and has noticed that she is losing the edge she once had from her factory job as well. With her gaining some pounds and losing the energy level she once had I wanted to do something about it. She never worked out a day in her life. As for me i was in some sports in high school and off and on throughout the years I got in my fitness spirts every so often. I was married once before and divorced. After my divorce in 2002 I needed something to take my mind off things and focus on #1(ME) for a while. I began to workout. I obviously started out slow then increased my workout. Not getting the results I wanted I kinda gave it up. Once in a while I would hit the weights for a stress reliever and it felt good but still wasnt getting the results I wanted. I didnt have consistency until recently. My wife and I started the P90X program June 29, 2009. By the end of the first week we were a little sore but we knew that with some burn comes results. We spend a little money on a few dumbbells and a chin up bar and figured we'd see what we could accomplish. Things are going so far so good. Just working out in general gives us alot better self esteem and a good feeling that a very important goal we set is going to be met before we know it.
