Hey, my name is Joel. I'm 38 y/o, I'm married and I'm a father of two, 8 and 5. In 1996 I graduated from the Los Angeles Police Academy and was in PEAK physical condition. Since then, I gradually moved farther and farther away from being fit, to a point where early in 2010, due to a multitude of reasons, culminating with a terrible dirt bike crash, I found myself at 220.5 pounds, 31.5% body fat and wearing size 38" pants. I would get winded walking up two flights of stairs in my home! I KNEW I had to do something, but I just didn't know what.
I never, ever thought I'd purchase something from an infomercial, but I did, and what an amazing ride the P90X turned out to be! By Day 90, I was at 185.0 pounds, 11.0% body fat and wearing size 32" pants (loosely!). By Day 180 (after completing my 2nd Round) I was 171.5 pounds and 8.3% body fat, with a 30.75" waistline.
The P90X program, and the "Beachbody lifestyle" as a whole, changed my life and everything about who I am. It made me a better husband, a better father and most importantly, a better person! I am NOT an extraordinary person, but, I did have EXTRAORDINARY resolve for 180 days during my two rounds through the "X."
After much consideration, research and suggestions from many people, including my family, friends, peers at work and total strangers who saw my pictures on P90X's Facebook page or my YouTube "transformation" video, I decided to become an Independent Beachbody Coach. I can help you achieve what I did. Whether you need advice regarding the workouts, input towards your diet and/or supplements or just an occasional kick in the rear end for motivation, let me show you how I achieved results that are in the top 5% of ANYONE who's ever completed the P90X program.
The workouts are, well, the workouts! You press "play" and just do the best you can. But, the diet/nutrition/supplementation aspects can a be A LOT trickier!
