I am a military wife that used to be in the military herself. You see I was a size 6 when I got married, but unknown to me I had a condition called Polysyctic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and I could not figure out why I was gaining weight so quickly despite my diet and exercise routine. My husband and I have been TTC for nearly 6yrs and we could not figure out why it was not happening, and the military doctors told me, you are too young to have PCOS don't worry about it; and they would not even conduct a simple blood test. We'll I got so depressed I turned to food, stopped working out and got up to my heaviest weight I have ever been at which is what it is now, and I decided I needed to take control of my life again. My short term goal is 21lbs and my long term goal is to reach my goal weight of 144. I am currently following the WW plan!
