I am a professional firefighter of 16 years. I never took physical fitness seriously until now. As a Captain, I want to inspire my team to become the best they can be. Also, I am a triathlete (and I use that term lightly). I have dabbled in triathlons for several years working up to the Half Ironman distance. I would train just enough to get by and then do no more. Now I am ready to step up

Now I am ready to step up my training to actually compete instead of just participate. Finally, I want to be an inspiration for my family. I want the rest of my family to see that health and fitness are both attainable and a life long endeavor. Everything starts today.
