I am a 34 year old, married, father of two beautiful little girls. I am a former member of the US Navy, now focusing my efforts on being a full-time Team Beachbody Coach. I have been a big fan of adventure sports and fitness since my teens, but had never gotten the results I wanted until Beachbody. Team Beachbody and their magnificent fitness programs, internet services,and supplements have helped change all that; I can do more and get injured less often due to proper training. But even more important than that, I know that I'll be around to see the golden years with my wife, and watch our two little girls grow up. And if that wasn't enough, I started actively coaching for Team Beachbody, giving me a true outlet to be able to share this gift of health and fitness with others, as well as earn an amazing income for doing something that I truly love. I considered myself pretty fit before. My scores on the Navy Physical Readiness Test were consistently near perfect. I was just a little thick around the trunk and wanted to slim it down a little. I decided to follow the lead of my friend and coach, Donnie. He had great results so I figured the same would be true for me.
My complication was constant nagging shoulder pain from several dislocations. I also had some knee and elbow pain from a long list of injuries. My PT said I needed surgery. My surgeon wanted to wait another six months to see if the problem fixed itself. I told them I was going to start lifting and that it would tear and we could schedule surgery, or it would get better. Would I be able to survive P90X? I thought so.
The first week was hard. Real hard. The second week was less testing, but I was still learning the moves. The third week I was pushing myself. By the end of 90 days, I wanted more. I am still there.
The pain from all those injuries went away somewhere in the second round of P90X. My Y-Presses started at 15lbs; they are now at 50 when I'm working for size. ...and with no pain! Tony showed me the fountain of youth!
In January 2010 I set a resolution to help 6 people get more fit. That goal was realized before the end of the first quarter. I think I will multiply it by 20 for 2011!
One of those people is my Dad. I get to have him in my life longer because Beachbody gave us the tools to change his life even living and working out in the cab of his long-haul truck.
The feeling you get helping someone reach their goals is rewarding in a way that I can't explain to you; you have to be there with them, struggle with them, encourage them through tough days, be tough for them when they feel like quitting. Then when they hit that mark, you pat them on the back, remember that it was ALL THEIR EFFORT that earned THEIR goal, and you help them set the next goal.
That's why I'm here. That's why I'll be here a year from now.

03/10/12 I don't even remember when I started. I don't always log my workouts. Lately, I am working out about three days per week. But I just crossed over 600 workouts in the SuperGym!
