Hello everyone, my name is Camille and I am a 31yr old mother of 4. Life is challenging. I reside in Bronx, NY. I am currently a college student going for an Associates of Science in Business. Education has always been an important part of my family's life.
I was always relatively small in size. As a teen I weighed between 120lbs and 125lbs. I had my first child at the age of 15. Even though I was pregnant, because of how well I did in school, I was very fortunate to be granted an opportunity to attend a very wonderful college prep program called Upward Bound that is affiliated with the Fordham University campus here in the Bronx. I was still active during my pregnancy. After I had my son, I was 10 pounds overweight. After I had my second child, I was another 10 pounds over. That made me 145 pounds. I was a little unsure of myself then because of the weight gain.
As a teen, I was introduced to the vegetarian lifestyle by aunt Dawn888. I tried it for a while and I actually did feel better internally and I was losing weight. After a while I went back to my old eating habits of pizza(at least 2 slices or more a serving), fried chicken, french fries, soda, chips and every bad food you can think of. I did not gain too much weight because I was walking everywhere I had to go and I guess because of the fact that I was a teen, my metabolism was kind of fast.
I went down south to Houston, TX when I was 19 or 20. After 2 weeks of being there, I could not fit my jeans. I swear I went from an 11/12 to a whopping 14/16!! I think I weighed about 183 pounds. I had low activity, I was eating 99 cent whoppers, KFC, Church's Chicken, and grits, eggs, and sausage every morning. I was in heaven, but my body felt like it had shut down.
I was introduced to Team Beachbody by my aunt Dawn888. I am greatful because it is time for a change. I am now in the mindframe to change my whole way of living and establish healthier eating habits to get back into shape. Running up stairs without breathing hard is one of my goals. I would like to be able to jog without my ankles hurting after a few steps. I am so happy to be a part of this community. Feel free to contact me at any time.
