I'm 31 and working on getting into the best shape of my life. My amazing husband, who've I been married to for 11 years is very fit and active (and a P90xer). We have two GREAT kids and I am a stay at home mom. My goals with doing P90x are several fold. #1. I want to be in the best shape of my life #2. Working out and staying fit with P90X is an enjoyable thing for my husband and I to do

I'm in the middle of my transformation story. I am on the opposite side of many of the transformation stories in that I've never dealt with being overweight, but in fact have had the opposite problem of being underweight. However, before you get mad at me for being skinny, understand it's not always a blessing. Skinny-ness or being thin DOES NOT translate to healthy. That's where my story begins. In high school, I struggled with my weight dropping down to about 87 lbs. when I was 18. For a 5'2" person this was definitely TOO thin. In college I put on about 10 lbs. and actually felt happy about my weight, but in 2001 I was diagnosed with a thyroid condition. I started medication and in 2 weeks I dropped close to 10 lbs. I struggled to put on weight...eating ANYTHING and EVERYTHING...whether it was healthy or not! It wasn't till I got pregnant with my son that I put on weight (40 lbs) but after having him I dropped the weight quickly. All this time I wasn't exercising-or eating healthy for that fact. In 2006 I got pregnant with my daughter and only put on 20 lbs, but it was after I had her that although I lost the weight itself, the way my body weight shifted was awful and I for the first time in my life am struggling with weight going on my thighs and butt. My weight hasn't changed, although I am now at a very healthy 104 weight which I am able to maintain. P90X HAS and IS transforming my life. It is targeting my trouble areas- I am putting on muscle and toning some of the toughest areas on my body. I can't say enough good things about this program. I am currently getting back into my workouts after having surgery about 8 weeks ago, but even if I can't make it through an entire workout, I still feel challenged, encouraged that as I stick with it, I will SEE the results soon! Follow me in my journey...one day soon I want to be a coach on here and help others reach their fitness goals, but first I want to reach my goals myself and prove to ME that I can and AM doing this!
