I am a 48 year old mother of 4...3 boys 28, 18, and 8. My daughter is 14. I had always considered myself athletic being raised with four brothers, but office work has not been good to me. As long as I sit at my desk,(22 years) I eat, and eat, and eat. Will power ZERO.

MAY 19, 2008 Last year...had a job...lost a job...got a job...Became depressed...stopped working out. Boy am I paying for it now. Went from 190 back up to 210. This new job has food brought to us several days a week and I really enjoy myself, but I am still at a sedatary job. I made a promise to myself to start over and really do it up this time. Work out in the mornings and walking in the evenings. The hardest part will be in giving up SOME of that food. But I am determined to start over. JUNE 15, 2007 I have been tall and skinny(5'8" 120 lbs) since 9th grade, Until I met my husband in 1984. He LOVES to cook, and the first year I gained 20 lbs. I but looked good. But from there on I had a total of 4 kids and gained 5 lbs a year until I got up to 210. I never want to be 120 again, but there's got to be somewhere between 210 and 120. I choose 165 lbs. My 14 yo daughter (who weighs 225) get up every morning with me at 5:00 to exercise. This seems to be going well, but we have a problem with food. I not only can't seem to stay away from sweets, but my husband still likes to cook and see his food eaten. My two younger sons are rail thin, but my daughter and I, weeellllll another story. I think I need a trainer to help me. How do I get one? I want to be fit AND healthy because my 8yo says I won't live to see him graduate. I haven't actually seen any weight loss, but my clothes are at least fitting me differently. I have tried Turbo Jam, starting in October 2006 (Luv it), Hip Hop Abs (luv it), and now Slim in 6 (verdict still out on this one). Next up Power, 90 and I hope the pounds start melting off. I'm giving myself no later than Thanksgiving to reach my goal of 165 pounds.
