Trumbull, CT I used to be in decent physical condition. I went through a period of my life (early to mid 20's) where I just didnt care about my physical appearence, I had no drive, no motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle, so in essence I "let myself go". I started eating fast food and take-out/delivery every night at all hours of the night, I didn't know the meaning of the word excercise, I became hooked I used to be in decent physical condition. I went through a period of my life (early to mid 20's) where I just didnt care about my physical appearence, I had no drive, no motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle, so in essence I "let myself go". I started eating fast food and take-out/delivery every night at all hours of the night, I didn't know the meaning of the word excercise, I became hooked to an online video game which kept me planted in a seat from after work to late hours of the night, plain out - I just didn't care what I was becoming (or I didnt realize it until it was too late!). One day it hit me that I needed to do something for the sake of my own well being. I dont know if it was just looking at what a mess I had become in the mirror or that I became out of breathe walking up 1 flight of stairs for my office building, but it was time for a change. My current condition was unexceptable for both my career (Engineer-Diver, need to be fit in order to perform the diving!) and my personal lifestyle. At the end of August, 2007 I was a 24 year male, 6'-0" tall weighing around 240 lbs. I was out of shape, I was out of touch with myself, and I was all out of excuses to NOT DO ANYTHING!
As a start I began to moniter what I consumed on a daily basis, this proved difficult seeing as I have never really attempted a diet before, let alone able to cook or follow a mealplan. That worked for a few lbs, but when I couldnt see results fast enough I started to incorporate diet pills, "quick-fix" weight loss supplements, anything that would have taken the hard work out of being more healthy. After a period of off-and-on diets/workouts/supplements I decided that it was time that I stuck with it. I had tried P90X a few times and struggled through the warm-ups! I did it off and on for a period of 2 months during the early summer months of 2009. I was down to about 205-210 lbs. I took a hard look at what I had become and told myself that if I dedicated myself to this, it would work, and I would be in the best shape of my life...
I started P90X w/ nutrition plan on October 5, 2009 and have been sticking with it ever since. I have met and been working with a BB trainer (Michael Ricca) who is in my area who has motivated me and pushed me to and beyond my limits. In the past 30 days I have seen tremendous progress to my physique, endurance, and general attitude now that I have been leading a healthy lifestyle on a regular basis. Heck, I even learned how to cook a few things through the nutrition plan! I have just started week 5 of the P90X workouts and continue to "hit play" and bring it each and every day..

I will start with this: Towards the end of 2007 I weighed 240lbs at 6'-0" and only 24 years old and had no motivation to do anything about it!
After starting the P90X program on Oct 5, 2009 and having just completed Week 4 of the program - I FEEL I AM IN THE BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE! I am completely motivated, and driven hard by my BB coach and friend Michael Ricca. The results I have seen in just 4 weeks is incredible, and can not wait to update my Story as the weeks continue.
I have great faith that this program will not just "terminate" at the end of the 90 days. It is helping me to adapt to a new and healthy lifestyle and in return making me feel absolutely fantastic about myself and how I feel each day I continue to Bring It! Not only do I feel great, but I feel more motivated in every aspect of my life - anything from my career to my social life!
