P90X has changed my life. Due to a high stress job and generally unfit lifestyle, I had been fighting high blood pressure for the last 13 years. To avoid prescription medication, I had attempted several forms of exercise over the years and have always battled my weight up and down and my blood pressure. In October of '05, I was struck by a car as a pedestrian, my legs ended up under the car and I had extensive damaged to both ankles. Of coarse, this put my on the sidelines for quite some time and again my weight increased and I fell back into an unhealthy lifestyle. One Saturday morning, in early '07 I watched the infomercial for P90X. I knew I had to make a change in my life with the weekend tendons in my ankles. I had to have a fitness program in my life to stay strong. I was very impressed with the comprehensive workout offered in P90X. Upon receiving P90X, I committed to the 6 day a week workout and committed to change my diet. I followed the step by step plan set out in the program. I completed the workouts and cleared out my cabinets of all unhealthy foods. I developed my daily menu and weekly shopping list. This is essential to staying on track. I utilized the recipes found in the included diet guide and on Million Dollar Body. Even today 9 months later I set my weekly menu to attain my goals. The Web is full of great healthy recipes. My prelimary goal was to be in the best shape of my life by the time I turned 40 in March of '08, I have already achieved to goal. Now the sky is the limit, I want to know the best level of fitness I can achieve. I have current decreased my body fat from 27% to 17%, I started with push ups on my knees, now I achieve 125+ push ups per workout on my toes. My energy level is through the roof and my high blood pressure is non-existent. My second goal is to inspire others to take the steps necessary to be fit. My current achievements have already inspired my wife and 3 close friends to purchase P90x and start down the path. I am so excited about my future and the transformations that can be achieved in such a short amount of time and with small changes in your lifestyle, I have trouble not telling everyone about it... Thank You P90X and Beachbody- you're a life changer.
3/31/08- Started P90X+ today - 187.6 lbs - 17.5% body fat- Have been on a maintainence schedule for 4 weeks body fat increased by 2% - Back to it.
7/14/08 - Starting my second round of P90X+ today - finished Lean version, now moving on to Classic. My goal has been to add Lean muscle while decreasing my body fat. My target weight is 195 to 200 lbs with a body fat of 12% at 6'4" that is an ideal healthy wieght to me.- I increased my calories over the past 3 months and now wiegh 194.4 lbs at 16.4% body fat and 55.8% hydration. Since April 1, I've put on 7 lbs while decreasing my body fat by over 1%. I'm on the right track- now to get serious!!

Update- 9/04/09 - since I started P90X - I became a Personal Trainer and stayed with my general fitness and nutrition. I have a husband and wife client that have lost over 200lb combined and just competed in their 1st Sprint Triathlon. Amazaing! Over the past 5 months due to some additional stress in my life, I have put on about 10 lbs and allowed my body fat to climb to 20%. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!! It was too hard to take it off. I have set a now goal for myself - 200 to 205 lb and 10% body fat. The minor fat loss will happen with the additional muscle. I have some injusries to work around due to getting older but it will happen. I'll update again when my new goal is acheived!!
