I'm 5'7", 42. Got to be 200lbs and 25%-26% body fat, kept seeing pictures of myself with my kids and didn't like what I saw. I used to be active in martial arts and sports in general when I was younger. I hadn't exercised in about 18 years.

I noticed a buddy at work had lost a good bit of weight very fast. I asked him how he did it. He said he was doing a program called p90x. I'm a skeptical person by nature, so I started researching it. After seeing so many people on the web that had changed their lives and bodies with beachbody I was convinced that it was definetly worth the chance.

I compared p90 to p90x and selected p90 as my starting point. The p90x seemed a little out of my league for a first time starter. Choosing p90 was the point my life changed for the better. Thanks Lee buddy.

I'll never forget that day. It was so hard. I just kept listening to what Tony was saying and kept at it. I attacked my meal plans like I did my workout ... one day at a time. Each day I added a little intensity to my workout and each day I intensified my focus on my meals. I marked my calendar each day and I kept on bringing it day after day.

I shed 6lbs that first week. After that I was hooked. At the end of p90 I was down to 150lbs and around 15% body fat. I was truly amazed at the results.

Now I'm on the last three weeks of p90x. I'm down to about 13% body fat, and just below 150lbs. I've added a good bit of muscle, and my waist size won't stop shrinking. The worse part about all of this is having to continually shop for smaller sizes. ;)

I feel like and look the best I have ever looked physically at 41 years old. My mind is quicker and more focused than ever. When I look at pictures of me and my family now I am proud of what I have accomplished for me and my family.

Now, beachbody is a part of my daily life. It's as natural as waking up in the morning to me. My family has been so supportive of my journey and I hope that my children will grow up with me as a role model health and fitness.

Currently doing insanity and 2nd round of modified p90x with bench and weights in most all exercises where possible. Going for MASS!
