mapleton, UT I am a 42 year old CT tech at a small hospital In Utah. I'm married with 3 kids, all boys. I love to golf, and I recently became a beekeeper. I started my Beach Body experience by losing ovwer 25 pounds doing Power 90, then moved on to P90X, and LOVED it! It was hard, I sweated a lot, and sometimes I was pretty sore, but it was worth it! I started Power90 March 4, 2009. I weighed 219 pounds on day 1, and had to hold my breath to tie my shoes! I work as a C.T. technologist in a small hospital. Dr. Dale Christensen was working a shift in the Emergency department, and we were talking about fitness. He asked me about my goals and fitness level, and suggested I try Power90. Shonni Hansen is an E.R. nurse, and said she would be happy to be my Beach Body coach. So, with a little encouragement, I was off on a new adventure. Power90 phase 1-2 was a great place to start. I couldn't do the entire workouts at first, but could see improvement even in the first week. The nutrition plan was a big change for me, but I found I could eat healthy foods, that I liked, and never be hungry! The best part was, eating the right foods got my body prepared for my next workout. Around week 2 or 3, I would wake up very early, around 4 a.m., dying to get out of bed and start my workout! I was so excited to have all this energy! I made the transition to phase 3-4 about 3 weeks into my 90 days. It was a real challenge, but I got such good support from my coach, shonni, and from Dr. Christensen. They sent me emails that would get me so pumped up, and excited about how good I felt. They also told me what to expect at day 30, 60, and 90. My 30 day pictures were a little disappointing to me. I felt SO much better, but couldn't SEE that much change in my body. By day 60, I could see some changes, but the last 30 days were amazing to me! I could see myself getting thinner, and finally started to look as good as I felt! Now, I am just over half way through my first round of P90X, and loving it! My wife is doing the program with me, and we are both getting great results. In fact, we are both now Beach Body coaches. It feels so good to be able to share my success story with others, and be in a position to help them start their own story with Beach Body.
