As a former Elite Athlete I am highly competitive by nature. Unfortunately, my body has taken a beating over all my years of training and competing in martial arts. As a matter of fact I have currently been diagnosed w/ rheumatoid arthritis and two rotator cuff tears in my right shoulder. In the past I wouldn’t have thought twice about the pain that I am feeling today for it was all part of the life of an Elite Athlete. But nowadays my range of motility is limited and often w/o pain. The arthritis medication and cortisone injection(s) help some in elevating the pain and discomfort but I miss my active lifestyle. I am hoping that through P90X I will be able to regain my youth.

Update: I still have the bad shoulder but I am willing to give this a go again!
