My name is Judy Reynolds. I am 40 years old and a wife and mother of two daughters age 14 and 18. I live in Amherst, Nova Scotia Canada and work as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in a nursing home and two nearby hospitals. I have completed 4 rounds of P90X and 1 round of INSANITY. I never take any vital statistics such as body fat percentage. I only have a scale which I seldom use. When I started p90x back in 2009 I weighed 138lbs and then dropped to 134lbs by February 11,2009. I have not weighed myself since then. I track my results more by how my clothes fit. I try to eat as clean as possible which can be a challenge in my house because my husband does the cooking and does not always cook as healthy as I would like. Also having two teenaged girls in the house who constantly complain that there is no junk food around. I do make alot of my own meals however, especially when I am working. I try to eat 5-6 times a day. This can be a challenge when I am working because you just cannot take a break from work at any time you want to eat. Sometimes when it is time to eat I am not hungry and have a hard time eating.
I did one round of P90X and was getting ready to do a second round of it when INSANITY arrived at my doorstep so I had to do that first. I received that video last August and have completed one round of it and am currently doing a second round of INSANITY. My results are showing slowly. But I am ok with this. Better slowly than no results at all. But one thing that I did notice was how much stronger I am. I also have more muscle tone which is pretty cool. Cardio wise I am stronger there as well and found that this helps with my running. I run alot in the spring, summer and fall. Not so much in the winter. So now that I am more used to INSANITY the next step for me will be incorporating INSANITY with P90X this way I can involve some muscle training in with the cardio. Sept. 2 2011 I am now starting my third round of P90X. I will be using INSANITY for extra cardio and Tubo Jam. I am more stronger than I have ever been and I am more toned but it is still a work in progress. I love to exercise and love what it does for me.
