All reports are strictly confidential. | junecarol San Pedro, CA I am an artist and art teacher living in San Pedro, CA (Los Angeles) and excited to finally do what I need to do to reach my 10 lb loss and firming up goal! I am on my last 30 days and am loving the journey of my first round! I am not sure what my weight loss goals are at this point but I am pretty sure I have a few more rounds to go. I am reallllly happy with my program now, see it as a I am an artist and art teacher living in San Pedro, CA (Los Angeles) and excited to finally do what I need to do to reach my 10 lb loss and firming up goal! I am on my last 30 days and am loving the journey of my first round! I am not sure what my weight loss goals are at this point but I am pretty sure I have a few more rounds to go. I am reallllly happy with my program now, see it as a lifestyle change, so however long it takes, the program won't change that much once I get there. X! JAM! 2/4/10. I rec'd my program yesterday and am preparing to start program tomorrow after I get everything. I am very excited to begin the transformation! I look forward to meeting others... others who have had success and others who are beginning the p90x at the same time as I! Let's be buddies!! 2/7/10. Okay, I have uploaded my before pic and took all shots. All I can say is, I cannot believe how big my butt is. I had no idea! ;-D. I am so sore! My body is so sore, I have no desire to break my diet. Why be in all this pain if I am just going to blow it with 10 minutes of eating something that completely goes against all this hard work! I made the lemon dill salmon in the Nutritian plan book for dinner and my guest and myself just loved it! This horrible big butt pic that I refuse to post is motivating me too! I loved today's workout, Plyometrics, because I felt, at least I can get through this one. I sweat allot and really felt like I was doing something! 3/9/10. I am actually on Day 32 today. I missed a couple days in the beginning but I am pretty sure I will be okay now. I have decided to double up to see if I can go down in pounds some, but inches mostly. I barely went down an inch overall after all that hard work. My body just needs aerobics at this point, I decided and that is why I decided to do doubles. I was extremely frustrated up until last week. Now I am just accepting what is and learning what to do with what I have. I think my body has a slightly leaner look but it could be wishful thinking at this point. My pics are going up tonight. I may upload one more before, a side view so I have something to compare my 30 day side view with. I played around with my calories. The advice began to be all over the place. When I dropped my calories very low, I was told I should not do that. Now that I have not lost any weight, someone else says to drop my calories. My metabolism was shot long ago. Trying to build it, so I will add the exercise and stay on my 1200 - 1600 calorie days. This month is going to be so interesting. Working out everyday in the past month has been my own personal miracle, I have never done such a thing and thought only movies stars had time to do that. I am making the time now and these dvd's are like personal trainers without the back and forth conversations. Now doubling two to three times a week. That is so insane for me and I can't wait to see what this will do for me. 4/8/10. I have been consistent with my caloric intake. I did doubles for a few weeks. I am doing cardio 3 x's a week now, mostly kenpo x but it just is not enough cardio for me so I ordered turbo jam. I have done 2 workouts now and it is completely the ticket. I feel I have all I need to meet my goals now. It will probably take about 4 rounds of p90x to get my legs to where I want them. I will alternate between turbo and p90x. I think I will have my weight/inch/size goal by the end of the second round. Then I will concentrate more on p90x to really get the firm legs I always wanted. I am ecstatic right now because each month I am consistently losing one inch off my stomach. I lost another half inch from my hips. Thrilled at the 1/2 inch off my thighs. A couple percent of body fat. And I lost 2 1/2 pounds, really 3 1/2 pounds this month!!!! One more month until the big finish. X!!!!!! JAM!!!!!! 8/15/10. I am actually on day 160 since I missed so many days. My motivation slowed because of a busy life and because my progress is moving so slow. My metabolism hasn't improved much but I am seeing the differences between day one and now more and more. My strength has doubled. Doubled at the very least. Doing an amount of push-ups I never thought I could do and am curling at least twice as much as I did on day one with much better form and repetition. I am still here and that is what I am proud of. The ones who inspire me are these Black women that are even older than I am looking half my age and it is because of their persistence. With age, the results just come slower so we must stick it out for the great rewards. Day 190 is three weeks away and I promise I will post the pictures. On a grilled live food and raw food diet most days, zig-zagging with cheat days so my body does not think I am starving it, getting my water, my protein will be grilled fish, grilled chicked and legume soups. See you in three weeks!! X! (Turned out I am not doing Turbo Jam so much. I have included strenuous, hilly walking and a really fun dancing workout to get in more cardio which is what I need to burn additional calories.) Ernestine Sheppard, a 74 years young body builder is my greatest inspiration. If you have never heard of her, google her. I don't believe in taking supplements at all and she does not either. I have just started including green tea in my diet though because they say it ups your metabolism. I think its working some. | Please sign in to flag this as inappropriate.
