I've always incorporated excersise into my life up until my car accident in 2002. It prevented me from carrying on with my excersise routine for over a year and a half. I have basically using common sense and portion control as far as my diet has been concerned. Low fat, low calories and low carbs basically. Trying to eat a good amount of protein and healthy carbs More ...
I have basically using common sense and portion control as far as my diet has been concerned. Low fat, low calories and low carbs basically. Trying to eat a good amount of protein and healthy carbs as well as veggies and fruit. Eating often but smaller meals. I try and get to the gym at least 3 times a week and walk outside for an hour on the days I'm unable to. I try and get in 45 minutes to an hour of cardio everyday, and it varies between the eliptical or the treadmill...usually both when at the gym. Followed by weights....low weight.....high reps. ending up with an ab workout at the end. Lately I've been changing it up a bit with some fast paced walking (almost a jog) on high incline for 5 minutes then down to semi high pace...back and forth to try and kickstart my metabolism. It's worked! Looking forward to tips from everyone and any advice!
