My name is Gerry Parker, I live on Long Island and I will be 45 years old in June. I am about to press play and commit the next 90 days to myself and my body and be in the best shape of my life by my 45th.

I am a single parent of an 11 year old girl who I feel needs to see her father create and maintain his body with proper nutrition and exercise.

I have been doing a lot of bike riding over the last 3 seasons charting 5000 miles, I will continue to ride during my 90 days and i look forward to the results.

I am a retired tournament golf professional, so I have tried to be in shape most of my life, but i like the thought of p90x taking me to the next level.

Transformation story

I have always been an athlete and athletic, i played professional tournament golf for 20 years, now i look to chase my 10 year old around the jungle gym and she keeps calling my name, so i have to go on all of the rides and exercises. I want to be a role model for her and let her know that health and fitness are paramount to a great life. I have been fortunate to have a great metabolism and now i am committed to training the P90X way to see the new results and the new me. It will be a long time coming and a bit of a dream for me to actually see the physique resemble my minds picture. So I am learning to bring it!! So far i am hooked and looking forward to confusion and transformation. It will be a great present to myself. I am finding out how out of shape i had been and unbalanced i was, so my new life will have a harmonic balance to it and i believe this will surface in all aspects of my life and I look forward to watching this happen. It is exciting.
