I'm a tall girl. And I've always been fairly thin, though not extremely fit. As I'm approaching my 30s, I've really started to notice how my body is refusing to let me continue eating as I always have. I am a fast food junkie! But I can really tell my metabolism is slowing down, and I'm starting to pack on a few pounds. I was a member of a gym for about a year, and I did ok with that. I would go pretty regularly for several months, then take a "break" for several more. It just wasn't cutting it. Then late one night, Tony Horton appeared on my TV screen, "bringing it" with P90X. I gave in and ordered the DVDs. I really liked the workout, but I think it was just a little too intense for me at the time. I just started doing Turbo Jam, and I love it! What a fun workout! What I'm having a really, really, REALLY hard time with is the nutrition plan. Old habits die hard, and my eating habits are going to take a while to reform. But I'm really committed to making it work, with the Lord's help. I want to make healthy choices that will last for the rest of my life. I'm ready to BRING IT!
