This month I'll be 50 years old and wanted to change my exercising efforts. I've been active all of my life in sports with racquetball being my main interest. This month I'll be 50 years old and wanted to change my exercising efforts. I've been active all of my life in sports with racquetball being my main interest. I run intermittently, kayak in the warm weather months, and recently have been using weight training with and without a coach. Since I've now reached an age where its harder to lose weight, I needed to try something different. I'm looking for strength, toning, and maybe some weight loss.
I'm a registered nurse in Neonatal Intensive Care at the University of North Carolina. I love my job and want to keep working as long as possible. Staying in shape helps me have more energy, stamina, and joy in my life and work.
I live my two dogs and enjoy music, movies, reading, and socializing!

I've been a Beachbody member since 2007 when I turned 50 years old. I've worked through Power 90, P90X, Hip Hop Abs I, and now I'm trying Insanity for 60 days. I am more fit than I have ever been, but I have not focused on weight loss. This time around with the Insanity program I have that as a goal. I am in a local Weight Watchers program so to step up my activity I am pushing play each day with Insanity!!!
