My son is in the Air Force stationed in New Jersey and my husband of 21
years is stationed in Japan. My daughter and I stayed in the states so she
could finish high school here. After my son and husband moved away my
daughter and I tended not to eat well and to sit on the couch and watch
movies together. She started noticing her pants not fitting as good and of
course I noticed the same thing about me. When my coach approached me to
join her in changing my lifestyle and becoming healthier I really didn't have
the energy to put into any kind of program, but she kept after me because
her daughter is my daughter's best friend and they are always together. She
told me that my daughter love's doing the exercise dvd's at her house and
the girls are always trying new recipes at her house. So I finally agreed to
listen to her and give it a try. I am now eating better, feeling better and
working out. My husband will be home in 16 months and I want him to come
home to a healthy and fit family. I know all the excuses I did drop 20 pounds
a year ago to be in my best friend's wedding. I wanted to look good for her
because we hadn't seen each other in 4 years. Less than 8 months after the
wedding I gained all that weight back and then some. Because of my coach I
am motivated and I want to in turn motivate some one else to live longer and
have a better life.
