I started struggling with weight after my 1st girl was born. I was right out of high school and went from a size 5 to a size 12 from pregnancy. as I was trying to lose the pounds from the first pregnancy, I ended up having another baby just 10 months later. I went on diet after diet, trying to lose all that weight, but it seemed the more I tried the more I gained. we ate a lot of processed food, like boxed mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. no wonder the weight just kept adding on. after my 3rd baby was born, I topped the scale at 225 pounds, wearing a size 20. sad and depressed, ashamed, tired all the time and not motivated for anything. not to mention feeling grumpy all the time. I watched my aunt die from being diabetic, and knew I had to do something to change my life, my kids were looking up to me and I needed to show them and teach them better healthier habits. I then decided to take full advantage of Team Beachbody and all the tools they provide us with so we can succeed! I have to say, I have finally lost almost 70 pounds, and gone from a size 20 to a 10! I am more fit than I have ever been...I wake up excited about life every day, I look forward to every workout...and I am excited to always take my fitness to the next level. I now know that my kids are learning healthy habits, and that I am doing everything I can to ensure they lead long healthy lives!
