I'm in my early 40's, married with 7 kids. I work in IT during the day and deliver pizzas a couple nights a week. I coach 2 soccer teams so I am super busy.

I'm a former college cross country and track athlete trying to get back in top shape. This is my first time doing any sort of video-based workout system.

Transformation story

I was a distance runner in college and have kept it up off and on until last spring when I had a hernia surgery and some complications that limited my running for over a year.

I was a distance runner in college and have kept it up off and on until last spring when I had a hernia surgery and some complications that limited my running for over a year.

I wanted something new and challenging that I could do at home. I heard some friends discussing P90X, did some research, and made the decision to buy it and get started.

My main goal was to drop my weight from 205 to 185, back around where I was a year ago.

I expected my biggest challenge to be the nutrition plan. I am a picky eater, I don't like many vegetables, and I love pasta (and also sweets).

Well I am now a P90X Graduate and lost 31 lbs, my final weight was 174. My biggest challenge was the diet, not having any cookies or ice cream since before I started, but I stuck with it!

I love the workouts and am definitely improving my strength. My final fitness test results showed significant improvement across the board. Perhaps most impressive was the 4.5 inch increase in flexibility!
