Talk about temptations! I am around food non stop, but it is MY choice to eat food that will only help the climbing cholesterol numbers I had a few years ago. Now, I have become so creative with my food, grilled onions and a chicken breast have become my right hand men. Those two items can make any dish so tasty!
I started this adventure approx. 2 years ago.. I got married November 17th, 2007, and the pounds started climbing shortly after. Before I knew it, I hit 160, and realized something needed to be done. I didn't take too many pics at that weight, but I can show you pics at what I am now after turboing. I am now at 145, with a few slip ups.. (Vacations are my enemy) But it's ok, I now pack my resistance bands and my 3t dvd wherever i go... a half hour workout makes a difference!
P.S I am seriously addicted to calorie counting.. This is super recent, because I use to not even care... Now I say, well, what kind of workout would i have to do to eliminate that item? oh, and that puts things into perspective.
I am a turbo jammer by sunset, and a bootcamper at sunrise. Bootcamp is a mix of all turbo jam dvds, just at a greater speed and on techno, lol... This is done with a group of friends and is a super motivator. If you have the chance to work out with people, do so. Makes things much more fun!
