Hi! My name is Diane. I'm 52 and live in the beautiful state of Oregon. I have 5 acres in the forest, 6 dogs, a cat, and pet trout in my pond! I have a demanding job as an accountant/hydroelectric power plant operator. In 1996 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Syndrome. After numerous "guinea pig" drug therapies I've found that physical activity is the best "drug" to combat the debilitating effects of Fibro and MPS. There are too many things I enjoy and need to do, whether working on my property, at my job or just having fun fishing, ATVing, or traveling. Because of my location and job it's almost impossible to maintain a regular workout schedule at a gym. BeachBody and WOWY are my workout partners, support group, and have more experience and knowledge than I'd ever get in a gym! In my spare time I volunteer with CASA and as a child advocate. I believe children are our most valuable resource and I especially have a heart for abused and neglected children in foster care. There are far too many!

Transformation story

Until my 30th birthday I never had to worry about my weight. I was 5'8" and never fluctuated past 119 lbs. I could eat anything. And I did! While my friends were all dieting I was enjoying whatever I wanted. After 30, and the customary slowing down of metabolism, I put on some weight and settled in around 145 lbs. Still not bad given my height; I looked healthier and not so skinny. Every 10 years I've added more weight it seems. When I turned 50 I was up to 170 lbs but had a lot of muscle from working out and the physical nature of my job and home life. Then I had to have two surgeries. That put me down and greatly reduced my activity level. This past year I've regained my strength and health and will soon be back to my fighting weight! The biggest goal for me is reducing my body fat.
