Hollister, CA Hello Everyone. I grew up back near Philadelphia (diehard Eagles and Phillies fan) and was always very active, especially in sports. I was always skinny and had tried to put on weight for the longest time!
I have been in California since 1990 and love the variety of cultures and all the great things there are to see and do. I met the love of my life and we moved in together and everything Hello Everyone. I grew up back near Philadelphia (diehard Eagles and Phillies fan) and was always very active, especially in sports. I was always skinny and had tried to put on weight for the longest time!
I have been in California since 1990 and love the variety of cultures and all the great things there are to see and do. I met the love of my life and we moved in together and everything was great, except for my weight! My nightly working out routine soon changed from the gym to cuddling on the couch with a bowl of microwave popcorn. Good for the heart (emotional one) and soul, but bad for the stomach.
To add to my weight increase, when my wife got pregnant with our two boys, instead of having “sympathy pains”, I experienced “sympathy weight gain!” I just hated to see her eat all alone! I tried and tried but unlike my wife, I could not give birth, so the weight just stayed on.

The last straw was in February, 2007 after the Super Bowl. I had hit 230 pounds and just could not believe it! Throughout the years, I had gone up in weight, then got back into shape for More ...
The last straw was in February, 2007 after the Super Bowl. I had hit 230 pounds and just could not believe it! Throughout the years, I had gone up in weight, then got back into shape for awhile, but then always gone back to where I was and then slowly past it!
So, I started my standard program of eating a little healthier and working out. I really enjoy running and lifting weights, they both help me look and feel better. The weight slowly started coming off but I knew I wanted to do something different this time, to actually reach my target weight and to stay there. Then I was introduced to MDB.
I believe MDB is going to be a big key for me to reaching and STAYING AT the weight I want. I am using the Meal Replacement Shakes and they are really working well for me. I am eating healthier than ever before thanks to all the great recipes and even though I am not at my target weight yet, I feel great.
I am the kind of person who likes to live life to the fullest and I know I will never be able to always have the perfect diet everyday. Sometimes you just gotta splurge! I think that is good for the soul. My problem, in the past, is that too much of the splurging/partying would always lead me to stop eating right and working out reagularly.
I truly believe that MDB provides many ways to help prevent the “backslide”.
