I am a wife and mother of 3 wonderful children. After I had my third child, I was on a mission to regain my shape. I did the Atkins diet and Taebo like there was no tomorrow! I was able to maintain my weight loss for about a year, then I got a new job. That's when life as a skin-ty B ended for me...lol. I worked 12-14 hrs a day during start-up of this new contract. I ate what I could, when I could. My work outs slowly diminished to, well nothing. So, I gained about 20 extra pounds over the past couple years and I have been miserable. I saw the P90X informercials for a while and finally decided to place an order. I started the program in July of 2009 for a week, gave up and put the dvd's away because I thought it was just too hard for me. In January 2010, I made a commitment to myself that I would push play once again. I prepared myself, mind, body and spirit for the journey ahead.
My start date was 2/8/10, and the journey continues...
Fast forward to May,15th, 2010...I am a P90x grad, down 20lbs! I have totally fallen in love with Beachbody and all the products. I added Turbo Jam and another round of p90x because I just missed hearing Tony telling me to "Bring It" everyday. I have done the 3-Day Shakeology Cleanse and am hooked on both flavors. My goal after this round is to add Insanity and I can't forget about Turbo Fire!
The great thing about this journey is that it is not just a fad, it has become a habit. I have inspired others around me to make changes as well. Even my children have taken a liking to my exercise routines. That's like the cinnamon in my chocolate Shakeology shake!

05/24/10 Ok, I fell short on my blog during the first round of p90x. I thought I would try it again. I finished about 2 weeks ago, down 20 lbs. I have to take my measurements this week. My clothes are all too More ... 02/16/10 Well I slept in on my X-Stretch day(Sunday) then went to church. I was pretty busy after that with it being V-day and all. So I just counted it as a rest day.
