I am a Certified Master Fitness Practitioner and hold multiple Group Fitness and Personal Training certifications. I've worked in health and fitness for almost 10 years and it's my Passion! I guess you can say if it involves fitness...I'm there! I am just now comfortable in my own skin, I struggled with my body image because of my 2 thin sisters and gained alot of weight through my pregnancy.

I started dancing when I was 3 and that was what I fell in love with. I've always been very "dancy" in everything that I do! When I was 16 my older sister hired me as a group fitness instructor/ consultant at the gym she was managing. "Temporary Work" is what she told me... and almost 10 years later, here I am... STILL! Throughout highschool dance had become more of a chore, than fun, so at 16 I called it quits. I immediately gained 10-15 pounds, and wasn't happy, since my 2 sisters were both much thinner than I. At the time I was starting to teach 3-5 classes a day, 3-5 days a week, helping out my sister. I became obsessed with the way that I looked because not only did I lose the weight gained from quiting dance, but I lost close to 25 pounds total. I was too thin, and didn't realize it until I was trying on dresses for Homecoming. Every dress "hung" weirdly. Even looking at those pictures... You could see my ribs from the back, and part of my shoulder bone popping out. What I was thinking... I am as thin as my sisters! I did gain weight back and transformed myself into a more "healthy" person at 18. I gained 51 pounds during my pregnancy and had alot of body issues during that point, of which I am over! (Thank God!) At 25, I am still a work in progress, however I am in the best shape of my life! I have visible ab muscles, which is a first! My mind, heart, and spirit are in the right place, and I continue to strive for the best in my personal life and in my loved ones lives.
