I'm a 46 year-old wife, foster mother and IT manager. Although I was always physically active as a child, I spent my late teens and early 20's ignoring my health and general fitness.
At age 30 I quit a three pack a day smoking habit and jumped on the road to reclaiming a healthy lifestyle. At age 35 I What are your health and fitness goals? I'd love to help you meet them!
I'm a 46 year-old wife, foster mother and IT manager. Although I was always physically active as a child, I spent my late teens and early 20's ignoring my health and general fitness.
At age 30 I quit a three pack a day smoking habit and jumped on the road to reclaiming a healthy lifestyle. At age 35 I completed my first full marathon and went on to complete two more. However, I was forced to take a break from running after injuring my knee during a training run.
That break became a long-term absence from working out. Coupled with poor eating habits, my physical endurance and muscle tone decreased and my weight and fat percentage slowly and steady climbed from that of an athlete to outside the healthy range. I went from buff to fluff and stayed there!
At 45, as my wedding date got closer, I became less and less satisfied with my appearance and general health. My last visit with my doctor confirmed what I already knew, my lack of exercise and affection for sweets and burgers were beginning to make themselves known. I started P90X because I saw the amazing results many of my co-workers were achieving with it. I'm pleased to say that with the help of P90X I looked marvelous in my wedding dress!
I love that I can work out at home, around my own schedule. Although the program is challenging, following it to the best of my ability created results I am excited to share with others. I would love to help you achieve results that you, too, are excited to share!

My transformation story is still a work in progress...during month two of my first round, what I initially thought was "bonking" turned out to be a virus which took over a week to recover from. Even so, I was able to meet my short term goal.
After the first round of P90X, I took a break from the program for my wedding and honeymoon, resuming my old and unhealthy eating habits. Although I wasn't back to Day 1 shape, I was heading in that direction.
I know P90X works if I "Bring It", and I know how to do that very well. So I'm off to round two!
