San Diego, CA Over the years I have used various methods to manage my weight and overall health. I was considered "active" but still was 40 lbs overweight. I was getting really frustrated with trying a program and not succeeding. I thought I was doing all the right things, but I was almost to the point of resigning myself to the fact I would never get to my fitness goal. I was getting really frustrated with trying a program and not succeeding. I thought I was doing all the right things, but I was almost to the point of resigning myself to the fact I would never get to my fitness goal. For some reason, I lacked the focus and commitment I needed, but didn't know why, when I seemed to want it badly enough. Recently I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident and suffered a broken back, fractured shoulder and torn shoulder and bicep ligaments. After sitting at home for over 5 months, I knew that I needed to get started on a serious program ~ but this time I knew I needed support, direction and most importantly, I needed to find out "why". . Why did I want to get fit, why did I want to get healthy and why is this time going to be different than so many times before. Excuses Be Gone!!! I went back to the gym and noticed the people I saw four months earlier prior to the accident, still looked the same. Still struggling with the same issues. Ugh! I didn't want to be in the same situation again. I was expressing my frustration to a friend at work and he told me about his girlfriend and her involvement with Team Beachbody. I went to her site and immediately joined as a Coach. I ordered the Chalean Extreme program and Shakology. I was so impressed with the fitness tools including meal plans, shopping list, workout buddies, after workout cooldown chat rooms, to name a few. I so enjoy the comraderie and support by participating in the online community. I posted a few "before" photos and I am glad to say after one week of Chalean extreme and the Basic Meal plan, I lost SEVEN POUNDS!!! I feel awesome!! No carb withdrawal, no drop in energy and no deprivation!! The meal plan is simple and delicious. Shopping list are provided, so I don't have to think about putting one together to make my meals for the week. The variety of food is fantastic ~ fruit, veggies, meat, fish, chicken, bagels, pitas, crackers and yogurt. All the stuff I was eating before. I get to eat every 2-3 hours, so I never experience low blood sugar or a drop in energy. It is really very impressive. I am proud to be a part of a team that changes lives.
