I'm really into nature, reading, music, photography, and dancing (ballroom, latin, and swing). Beachbody got me started on the fitness trail, and I mix it up with numerous other programs, including my Fav, Cathe Friedrich.

I am lucky. I have good genes. I have always been tall and slim. However, starting in my late 20's, I noticed that it was harder and harder to keep the weight off. I exercised off and More ...
I am lucky. I have good genes. I have always been tall and slim. However, starting in my late 20's, I noticed that it was harder and harder to keep the weight off.
I exercised off and on in my 20's and 30's. When I was 39, I decided to get serious. I started with P90X.
I still cannot do everything they do in P90X. It frustrates me at times, but everyone is different, and I haven't been doing this for 20 years. I have seen major changes in my body. Really didn't lose much weight, but dropped a whole size. Muscle does make a difference. For example: back in my late 20's I lost alot of weight. I was 117 pounds and a size 6. These days I stay around 130-133 pounds, and I'm still a size 6. I have seen massive increases in strength and endurance.
I may never have a six pack. I may never look like a fitness model. Let's face it, I'm a woman over 40. It's hard to do. But the ultimate goal is to be healthy. I work with and see so many overweight people daily. All they do is complain about where they hurt, and what they can't do. I don't want to be that.
When I'm 80, I still want to be able to work in my yard, go hiking, and dance the night away.
I mix things up using Beach Body programs, as well as Tracy Effinger, Kelly Coffey-Meyer, Patrick Goudeau, and my favorite, Cathe Friedrich.
